It's what happens to babies, you know: they grow up.

Today Eldest received a voter registration card as one of her birthday gifts. She's certainly one of the greatest gifts I've ever been given.

Julia: Yes, I do laundry. But the title of this blog comes more from the mixed bag of roles that make up my life than from the dirty clothes that fill our closet. I never set out to 'have it all', which is a good thing, since what I've been given is much richer than anything I could have searched for.
